Shred It Zine is Shred Till You're Dead zine renamed. Jake from T.F.A. released 4 issues under the Shred Till You're Dead title and then this issue under the new, shortened, name.As you may read below, Jake is only 14 years old, but is fucking active as hell in his local punk/hc scene, by writing this zine, running a distro etc.
Well, issue 5 is 32 A5 pages long, photocopied, old school style, and contains interviews with Common Enemy, Crucial Cause, Eat & Run, I Hate This, Bad Reaction, Canon Law and more, plus some DIY instructions to make buttons and a couple of columns.
As you may have already figured out, the issue is dedicated to fast old school skate hardcore / punk, nothing to do with the mainstream scene.
I have to admit that there are some things I do not like, for example the design, but what the fuck, who cares about such things? This is an old school fanzine made by a dedicated kid, and this matters.
Moreover, I was informed that there are 2 new issues of Shred It Zine out and that's great! Get in touch with Jake and order his fanzine now.
