Well, here's the latest All For Nothing release that came out just...2 days ago. We got this CD upfront its release a couple of weeks ago but due to the fact that so many records were waiting in the row for a WAK review, here you are...
For those that are unaware, All For Nothing is one of the best female fronted hardcore bands in the world, coming from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. And when I write that they are one of the best female fronted hardcore bands in the world I totally mean it; you have to listen to Cindy's voice to get persuaded...
All For Nothing were formed in late 2002 and have already played more than 300 shows all over Europe and released a bunch of nice records.
'Solitary' contains 5 brand new high energetic hardcore punk songs fueled with sing along choruses, melodic guitar riffs and 2step breakdowns.
If you are into hard hitting hardcore and you dig No Turning Back, Down To Nothing and the likes, I guess you'll like this, too.
There are guest vocals by Michiel Nothing Done / The Real Danger in one song, as well!
All For Nothing are a really mature hardcore band with lots of potential to lead the current European scene.
Just give 'em a try.
The MCD comes in a cool digipack case with nice artwork (even if I'd prefer if the lyrics were included).
The German label Demons Run Amok released a limited 7" edition of 'Solitary' one month ago, as well, so watch out for both formats!
P.S. All For Nothing are touring Europe along with the legendary Slapshot this winter. It's sad that they won't visit Greece...
