NOFX
"Coaster" CD
Fat Wreck Chords
This is the 11th full length album of the best punk rock band of the planet...
Wiebke from Fat Wreck just sent me the dropcard for the exclusive download of "Coaster" and I decided to write the review in time, just before the official release of the record that I think it's on Tuesday, 28th April... Workaholic eh?!
Well, I dunno... but I find the new NOFX record more mature than ever; I mean it's more emotional, a bit darker, a bit back to the late 80s roots, a bit more rock 'n' roll, a bit more sweety...
And I must admit that its predecessor, "Wolves in wolves' clothing", didn't make much sense to me... so "Coaster" set things straight again (eh Danai?!)!
Produced by the legend himself Bill Stevenson from The Descendents and featuring one of the most emotional NOFX songs ever, "My Orphan Year", in which Fat Mike sends a goodbye to his parents that both passed away in 2006.
They also sing about America, have a conversation with a lesbian and mess up with organized religion among other issues...
But...
Fuck... who am I to review a NOFX album??? Just a humble human being & nothing more...
I love NOFX and you better love 'em too in order to just walk straight to your closest record store, stay there and wait till next tuesday to purchase the new album instead of sitting in your fucking chair in front of a fucking boring PC screen reading what a fucking moron like me is fucking writing...
Music is out there...

P.S.1 NOFX tour all over Europe right now... And guess what? Their tour schedule does not include Greece...
P.S.2 The review of the "Backstage Passport" DVD will be uploaded next week, so stay tuned...
